The State must respect parental rights. Parents should have a say in their children’s education and the right to choose, along with their children, which schools they will attend.
It is the view of our party that the family constitutes a private sphere in which politics clearly has its limitations.
Education
We stand for more conservative approach in schools. Pupil is pupil, teacher is teacher. There should be more discipline and respect toward the institution. No cameras should be put in schools because that creates false social reality and numb behavior.
Culture
The authorities have a responsibility to support culture and ensure that it is part of the common heritage passed on to coming generations. Society for new Bulgaria attaches importance to managing and further improving Bulgaria’s cultural legacy by preserving cultural expressions of lasting value.
Economics
We stand for free market economy and competition
We will strive to promote an economic policy which is stable and predictable, and which does not postpone problems for future generations to deal with.
Security
We advocate a firm policy against street and organized crime without that to violate the private life of the citizens. Zero tolerance against drug abuse and drug dealing, Pedophiles, car stealing mafia, housebreakings. Criminals should not get the impression that the government has capitulated and the police does not dare to patrol in certain neighborhoods and does not want to fight with organize crime structures.
Protection of privacy
Individuals are entitled to protection of their privacy. The proliferation of new technology entails that the private sphere is growing increasingly transparent and verifiable. It is important to protect the right to privacy with regard to private interests as well as public agencies.
Environment
We stand for clear environment with special emphasize on water and forests protection policies.
Economic growth must take place within the limits of nature’s tolerances.
International co-operation
To a great extent, Europe shares common basic values and common democratic, economic and cultural traditions. In this part of the world, it is therefore natural to strive for the closest possible co-operation when seeking to preserve values and traditions.
Although far-reaching reforms are called for in many countries, they must evolve from inhabitants’ own recognition of the need for change.
European union should not enlarge more than its strict geographical borders. On a geographical, historical, cultural and religious basis, Turkey has nothing in common with Europe. Our party regards Turkey as a privileged partner, but not as a possible member of the European Union.
Emigration and minorities
“Society for new Bulgaria” wants a fair and strict immigration and minority policy. Bulgarian people have the right to protect their own language and culture. The laws and values of the host country have to be respected.
